1. The service
dzidza Homie is a Stripes Space educational product from Creative Stripes Agency. It provides tutoring and learning support. The current V1 educational scope is Zimbabwean ECD A, ECD B, and Grades 1–7. Future versions may support additional education levels or supported mobile and web clients, but those are not promised as currently available by these terms.
The initial communication channel is the official WhatsApp Business Platform. By using dzidza Homie, a user—or the parent or guardian responsible for a child user—agrees to these terms and the dzidza Homie Privacy Policy.
2. Educational purpose and limitations
dzidza Homie provides tutoring, practice, explanations, and educational support. It does not replace an official school, qualified teacher, examination authority, professional assessment, or official curriculum documents. Learners and parents or guardians remain responsible for checking important academic decisions and official requirements with the relevant school or authority.
Educational content should be based on appropriate, lawfully usable sources and curriculum guidance. Content may contain errors or become outdated, so users should report suspected problems and verify high-impact information against official sources.
3. Learners, parents, and guardians
Users should provide only information reasonably needed for learning and account support. Children should use the service with appropriate parent or guardian awareness and supervision. Parents and guardians should help children choose an appropriate education level, avoid sharing unnecessary personal information, and use educational guidance responsibly.
Do not share passwords, PINs, one-time passwords, verification codes, or payment credentials with dzidza Homie through messages.
4. Access and the WhatsApp channel
Users are responsible for access to their device, phone number, WhatsApp account, and any internet or mobile network charges. Access may depend on WhatsApp and Meta services that are outside our control and governed by their own terms. A WhatsApp account is not the authoritative dzidza Homie learner record.
Users must not impersonate another person, improperly access another learner’s information, evade access controls, or provide false authority to act for a child.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Some enabled features may require a subscription or payment. Applicable price, duration, renewal, cancellation, and payment information must be presented through the authorised purchase process before a transaction. These terms do not invent a price or commit dzidza Homie to a particular payment provider.
WhatsApp messaging is separate from dzidza Homie payment processing. Ending or cancelling a subscription may end paid access but does not automatically delete learner identity, learning progress, or records that must be retained for legal, security, financial, or legitimate operational reasons. Personal-data deletion is a separate request described in the Data Deletion Instructions.
6. Appropriate use
Use dzidza Homie for lawful educational purposes. Users must not:
- harass, threaten, exploit, or endanger another person;
- submit unlawful, abusive, sexually exploitative, or deliberately harmful material;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, bypass, or gain unauthorised access to the service;
- use automated means to scrape or misuse content or accounts; or
- infringe privacy, copyright, or other rights.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect learners, other users, the service, or legal obligations. We will apply these rules proportionately and with particular care where a child is involved.
7. AI-enabled features
Where AI-enabled educational features are available, their responses may be incomplete, incorrect, or inappropriate for a learner’s exact needs. Users should not rely on AI output as an official examination answer, official curriculum authority, or professional advice. Known operations such as curriculum retrieval and deterministic marking should use the appropriate authoritative or rule-based process rather than depending on AI.
8. Intellectual property
dzidza Homie software, branding, original learning materials, and service design are owned by Creative Stripes Agency or used under permission. Users retain rights in content they lawfully submit. Use of the service does not transfer ownership of dzidza Homie or permit redistribution, resale, or copying beyond what the law or an express licence allows.
9. Availability, changes, and ending access
We aim to operate dzidza Homie responsibly, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security events, third-party platform changes, connectivity, or other circumstances may affect access. Features may be improved, corrected, limited, or discontinued where reasonably necessary.
A user may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated misuse, security risk, non-payment for paid access where applicable, or legal requirements. Ending access does not itself require immediate deletion of all records; retention and deletion are governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable obligations.
10. Reasonable limitations
dzidza Homie is provided as educational support. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Creative Stripes Agency is not responsible for losses caused by a user’s misuse of the service, reliance on content without reasonable verification, or failures of third-party communications and network services outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, applicable requirements, or supported features change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably appropriate. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply, subject to rights provided by applicable law.
